Community Art Grant

Lydia Freedman, our Community Art Grant winner, accepting her award at the second annual Jams for Jake Music and Arts Festival on August 5th, 2018. We will be working with Lydia to help launch her "Green Ribbon Project" at Reading Memorial High School as a way to raise awareness of, and reduce the negative stigma surrounding, mental illness.

CALLING ALL RMHS MUSICIANS, ARTISTS, WRITERS,

PHOTOGRAPHERS, AND DANCERS…

​
​Want to win $500 AND showcase your talents at a local music festival?!

​

​

​Draft a well-thought-out proposal, no more than 500 words, for a project YOU can lead to better the community.
​Find a way to incorporate your art or just focus on a cause you care about!
​
Please also tell us what you’d be interested in buying with $500 and what you would showcase at the Jams for Jake music festival

on August 4th, 2018. Winner will also receive both moral and material support for their community project.
​
Need help funding a new camera? Art supplies or music production software calling your name?
​Want a new amp, instrument, or other equipment?

no later than June 15th, 2018.
